David Chivers is a French-American award-winning violinist and composer whose work reflects a deep commitment to storytelling and connection through music. His broad musical experience brings a unique perspective to writing for film, seamlessly merging emotive, classical and contemporary orchestral soundscapes with organic electronic textures.
First prize winner of the International Croydon Competition, as a concert violinist David has played in many of the worlds prestigious concert halls and festivals, as a soloist, chamber musician and early music specialist.
David is passionate about exploring the intersection between creativity and impact, and the political role of the artist in today’s society. His work as creator and host of the Make Art Not War podcast invites listeners to rethink the role of art in shaping culture and connection.
